I was just wondering if any SOMD'ers run their car at HPDE's or Open track events?

When compared to what I see some people spend on modifications it really isn't all that much.
A few hundred dollars spent on performance driving lessons, will get a car around the track much faster than the few hundred dollars spent on modifications.

That happens rarely in HPDE, but is the risk.
I usually feel that an accident is more likely on the beltway than in the controlled environment of a road course race track.
