Huge trees

Anyone know a company in Calvert County which specializes in taking down huge trees? I have about five of them on my lot that simply must go.

On a side note I'm gonna have tons of free firewood if anyone wants it, we have a gas fireplace.

Winterseat or Newtons tree service can take care of them for you
We have used Newtons before, somewhat expensive. We decided to go with Kerwin's Landscaping in Leonardtown. They did a great job, had all the requied equipment including a 60Ft Bucket truck to get the tree limbs over the house, fully insured and cleaned up when they were finished and were less expensive. Business number is 301-994-9388, we left a message and they actually called back the same day.

Did they haul away all the crap or leave it for you to deal with?

We have a fireplace so they actually cut the trunk into fireplace size logs and stacked it for me, all the smaller branches which we would not burn were chipped up into their dump truck and hauled away. They actually hauled away all the debris for my neighbor, a little more $, but well worth it for them.

Just curious, Thor....what kind of trees are they?

The kind that are old and dieing and dropping giant logs in my back yard.

Seriously, I don't know.
