I get what you're saying, I just don't agree with it.
I think that she is quite attractive. :shrug:
But him....I don't understand the attraction some women - and men - feel toward him. He's got so much dark facial hair that makes it appear that he constantly needs to shave. I don't like dudes with lots of facial hair, or perpetual 5 o'clock shadows.
That's not the best picture of her. I was looking online to see if there's another but honestly it just looks like she doesn't know how to dress or isn't comfortable with her body. It seems like she tries to cover up a lot, which is fine...just not 'typical Hollywood'. I think she's pretty, she just looks a little older than him...again, whatever. They look happy

I think he's very attractive. He sings, dances, is funny, seems intelligent, and there's something wicked hot about a faithfully married family man that is scandal-free.

Looks aren't everything.
But I remember when I first saw pics of Pierce Brosnan and his wife, who is....quite large, and not particularly attractive. His first wife wasn't all that either. Honestly my first thought was that he's gay and she's his beard.
Hollyweirds aren't known for their depth of character and seeing the person within, so it would be unusual for them to not place major emphasis on looks.
Would it really surprise anyone to find that Hugh Jackman is gay?
