Hughesville Bargain Barn

Does anyone know how often they are open. Someone told me it's also called the Amish Flea market, but not really sure.

No Amish there. Goes by the Bargain Barns.

Maybe they are talking about the Farmers Market in Charlotte Hall. Not many farmers there but plenty of junk.

I was there not long ago to stock up but they didn't have much fruit. Anyone know where to buy good fresh fruit? Thanks!

The problem with buying good, fressh fruit (i.e. locally grown) is that you can only get it when it's "in season". We are spoiled to the supermarket having the same offerings in produce year round.
I know that much, unfortunately I don't know what's currently in season.

If you are interested in a nice drive in the country for fruit, head across the Nice bridge and go to Westmoreland Berry Farm, about an hour or so from No. St. Marys, can pick your own or buy already picked. :yay:
