Just read a great article on various types of things that are harmful to your pets. I knew about some of them but didn't know about tomato plants and tomatoes or the pits and seeds from fruit. Link is from nbc4.com:

You should never feed onions, raw garlic, chocolate, grapes or raisins to your dog.

HAM?!?! Really? I guess with all the sulfites and preservatives us humans shouldn't be eating it either.

Nuts and seeds either? WOW! Not like I made it a habit or ever remember giving them nuts & seeds but I guess yes it makes sense.

Current doggie owners have lots to learn still.
