Your Dog is Talking -- Do You Understand? Please join the Humane Society of Calvert County Tuesday February 5, 7:00-8:30 at the Prince Frederick Library (Rooms 2 & 3) in welcoming Dan Kapaska as he shares his expertise in animal training and dog behavior. Does your Dog: Bark incessantly? Is he/she a destructive chewer? A jumper? Are your afraid of your dog? Does your dog need better socialization skills or need help with housebreaking? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please join the Humane Society of Calvert County and Dan Kapaska as he shares his 17 years of experience in basic dog behavior. Mr. Kapaska is a dog behavorist and the founder of Pals with Paws. Mr. Kapaska has worked with law enforcement k-9s, is a board member of Second Hope Rescue. The motivation behind creating Pals with Paws was his recognition of need for people to understand dog psychology and why dogs act and behave the way they do. I have seen Dan work with dogs that others have given up on, he has some intuitive way with them that makes them trust him and give him their respect. A number of owners that have taken Dan's classes are amazed at what he taught them about their own dogs.
