Hunger Games - Catching Fire

This movie was excellent!
I liked it much more than the original!
The costumes (and especially the makeup for the women) was extraordinary! So beautiful!
Story moved fast even though it is considered a long movie. (or at least I considered it to be a long movie. 2 hours and 40 (?) minutes!
I even enjoyed the previews! Lots of good movies coming out in December and January!

Had you seen the 1st in a theatre or at home? I expect anything on the big screen would be better.
I heard a movie review on WTOP a few days ago and they said it was less violent than the 1st. The reviewer raved about the cast.

I saw the first in the theatre!
Yes, this movie was not that violent at all! Funny, I didn't even realize that at the time! lol

The cast was excellent! Just a good fun time to be had!
Hope you go and see it!

I don't enjoy going to movie theatres much; though I do think it would be a cool movie to see on the big screen. My experiences at movie theatres include a person that had already seen a movie narrating to another about what was going to happen next (annoying all of us around), crying toddlers, cell phones and texting and people talking.
Not being into rude behavior and distractions, I will probably wait until it comes out on Netflix! The comfort of my living room, surrounded by my husband and animals sounds much more enjoyable.

The movie will be great on Netflix! I don't think you really need to see it on the big screen!
"Gravity", though, is a must and in 3D!

My girls and I have read the books, and we all have mockingjay pins. I watched Catching Fire on Saturday. It was great, and the arena was exactly how I imagined it when reading the book. I have so much more respect for Jennifer Lawrence as an actress after the closing scene. The changes in emotion you could see in her eyes was fantastic!
