Miranda Devine's Book on Hunter Biden's Laptop Will Be Used as a Roadmap for Republicans to Investigate Joe Biden After Midterms

Since its release, NY Post columnist Miranda Devine's book has been referenced by hundreds of news stories surrounding Hunter Biden. The book, titled "Laptop from Hell: Hunter Biden, Big Tech, and the Dirty Secrets the President Tried to Hide," goes into detail about not only the infamous laptop, but also her investigation surrounding the Biden family's numerous improprieties.

But all of it's fodder if there is no action taken. And while taking down Hunter and "Uncle Jim" would be nice, the real target for any investigation must be "the Big Guy" if there's to be anything more than embarrassment to the regime. On the latest episode of The Midnight Sentinel, I asked Devine about the prospects for an investigation into Joe Biden and her response was encouraging:

"Oh a hundred percent. And look, we know right now that there is an investigation going on into Hunter. There's at least one, there's another investigation going on to Jim on a separate matter. Look, just yesterday, I was given from a sort of anti-corruption nonprofit called Marco Polo, a subpoena that was issued in May of 2019 by the US attorney in Delaware for JP Morgan Chase Bank for financial details pertaining to Hunter Biden, Jim Biden, and two of their partners, Devon Archer, and Eric Schwerin, any transactions to do with the Bank of China. Money coming in or when they're going out, anything and any other accounts that might be related to those people, at least 15 companies, many of them that Hunter Biden is director of, a couple of them that other business partners that aren't listed in the subpoena controlled, and that money from overseas, from China and Russia and so on was going into

Hunter Biden Sought Millions for Himself While Helping China

The Daily Mail said it has obtained emails confirming Hunter Biden was working with former Kazakh prime minister Karim Massimove to pull off a $120 million pipeline deal that also apparently involved tens of millions of dollars from China.

“The oil deal involved Massimov, who’s now accused of treason, and the State China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), now under U.S. sanctions,” the report explained.

The report explained emails obtained from a laptop computer that Hunter Biden abandoned at a repair shop reveals he was in Beijing and Kazakhstan during 2014 and 2015 while trying to set up the deal, from which he reportedly would have been paid handsomely.

The report said the information is “troubling,” as it indicates “he was working on a deal that could indirectly further the energy interests of the Chinese government while hoping to collect millions of dollars for himself.”

8 Joe Biden Scandals Inside Hunter Biden’s MacBook That Corporate Media Just Admitted Is Legit

Here are the eight Joe Biden scandals deserving further coverage.

1. Pay-to-Play in Ukraine

The most obvious scandal bared by the emails and text messages contained on Hunter’s laptop concerns the influence profiteering Joe Biden apparently participated in during his eight years as Barack Obama’s vice president, with Ukraine featuring heavily in the pay-to-play scheme.

The New York Times, in its likely “get ahead of the story,” coverage from last week, touched on the Ukrainian angle by noting Hunter’s connection to Burisma and then quoting emails recovered from the laptop indicating the younger Biden leveraged his dad’s position — then as vice president. But the Times’ surface coverage of the Burisma scandal doesn’t nearly suffice.

Surface it was: The Times made no mention of Hunter’s appointment to Burisma Holdings Board of Directors at a reported salary of $50,000 per month during his dad’s time as vice president. Hunter Biden had no experience in energy. So, a deep-dive on the entire Biden-Burisma connection is a first step.

2. China Gets in the Game

3. Moscow, Kazakhstan, and More

4. Ukraine’s Firing of the Prosecutor Investigating Burisma

5. Obama-Biden Administration Ignoring Conflicts of Interest

6. The Intelligence Community’s Briefing of Biden

7. Possible Collusion to Interfere in the 2020 Election

8. Joe Biden Is a ‘Lying Dog-Faced Pony Soldier’

First, the media should demand Biden answer for lying to the country when he seethed, “I have never discussed, with my son or my brother or with anyone else, anything having to do with their businesses. Period.” The evidence overwhelmingly shows that Biden not only knew of the family business deals but was part of them.

The second bold-faced fabrication from Biden came during his pre-election debate with Trump, when Trump raised “the laptop from hell.” When Trump asked Biden if he was saying the “laptop is now another Russia, Russia, Russia hoax?” the then-Democratic candidate replied, “That’s exactly what was told.”

Unlikely. Biden also countered with this doozy, which again raises the question of whether Biden had a role in the intelligence officials’ statement:

There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what he’s accusing me of is a Russian plant. They have said that this has all the … five former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage. Nobody believes it except him and his good friend, Rudy Giuliani.

Hunter Biden Emails Show He Secured Funds for Biolabs in Ukraine

Here are the details, and remember also that then-Vice President Joe Biden was in charge of relations with Ukraine at the time all of this was happening:

  • Hunter Biden was a partner in a company called Rosemont Seneca.
  • Rosemont Seneca invested $500,000 in a pathogen research company called Metabiota. Hunter also helped raise millions more for the company through investors.
  • Emails from his laptop show Hunter introduced Metabiota to his friends at Ukrainian gas company Burisma, which was paying Hunter $50 thousand per month as a “board member.”
  • The money was used for a “science project” involving biolabs in Ukraine.

Now we know why Burisma was paying all that cheddar to Hunter: he was bringing them money for their biolabs. Hunter’s own emails appear to prove it.

The vice president of Metabiota, Mary Guttieri, emailed Hunter in 2014 after Russia invaded Crimea and wrote the following:

As promised, I’ve prepared the attached memo, which provides an overview of Metabiota, our engagement in Ukraine, and how we can potentially leverage our team, networks, and concepts to assert Ukraine’s cultural and economic independence from Russia and continued integration into Western society.
Burisma bigwig Vadym Pozharskyi emailed Hunter about the “science project.”

“As I understand the Metabiota was a subcontract to principal contactor of the DoD [Department of Defense] B&V [an engineering firm called Black & Veatch]. What kind of partnership Metabiota is looking for in Ukraine?”

Senators Release Receipts Showing Direct Payments From Foreign Oligarchs To Hunter Biden

According to the documents obtained by the senators, energy company CEFC, “an arm of the Chinese Government,” paid Wells Fargo Clearing Services $100,000 and designated “further credit to Owasco,” Hunter’s firm.

“There’s no middle man in this transaction. This is $100,000 from what is effectively an arm of the communist Chinese government direct to Hunter Biden,” Grassley said on the Senate floor on Monday. “To the liberal media and my Democratic colleagues: Is this official bank document Russian disinformation?”

“Bank records like this piece of evidence are pretty hard to deny and sweep under the rug. Our reports were chocked full of irrefutable evidence like this. And yet, the media buried those details, in an attempt to keep it hidden from the American people,” Johnson added in his testimony.

Hunter Biden’s Laptops Are Now An Active National Security Threat

What distinguishes the emails contained in last week’s Daily Mail article from those published last year is that the most recent release came the day after Russia’s State Duma speaker, Vyacheslav Volodin accused President Biden with being “involved in the creation of bio laboratories in Ukraine,” with Volodin claiming that “an investment fund run by his son Hunter Biden funded research and the implementation of the United States’ military biological program.”

Soon after Volodin made the charge on Thursday, the Telegraph called Russia’s accusation of Hunter Biden funding Ukrainian biological laboratories an “unsubstantiated claim” “designed to build on negative coverage about [the] president’s son in Right-wing US media.” But with Friday’s release of previously undisclosed emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop, Russia’s claim, at least concerning Hunter Biden’s connection to Ukrainian biological laboratories, appears accurate.

While none of the emails released on Friday support Russia’s claim that the Ukrainian labs were used to research or create bioweapons, propaganda need only hold a sliver of truth to serve its purpose. And the cache of emails contained on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop provides Putin and his comrades enough evidence to seemingly confirm the Russian government’s earlier claim that Hunter Biden helped implement a bioweapon program in Ukraine. This false framing also provides Russia ammunition to justify its attack on its neighbor to the west.

Russia’s ability to point to the Hunter Biden emails as confirmation of its claims of a biolab in Ukraine raises a serious question with huge national security implications: How did Russia know the day before The Daily Mail’s exclusive that the Hunter Biden’s investment fund, Rosemont Seneca, had invested in Metabiota and been involved in Metabiota’s operations in Ukraine?

The timing of events last week suggests Russia has access to the same emails as The Daily Mail or that Vladimir Putin’s agents might well have obtained access to Hunter Biden’s first laptop—the one the president’s son believed Russians had stolen in 2018. In either case, the Biden family corruption documented on the laptops has gone from a potential national security risk to a real one—and in the midst of a war launched by Russia on a country bordering North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies.

The contents of the laptops was PUBLISHED On Line

The confirmations by the major news publications come weeks apart and roughly 18 months after the New York Post broke stories on Biden’s overseas business dealings, citing information from the laptop. The NY Post’s stories, published weeks before the 2020 election, were censored on social media and downplayed as likely products of Russian propaganda. At the time, neither Biden nor his father, now the President of the United States, claimed that the laptop or its contents were fake.

Independent experts and knowledgeable sources approached by the NYT and WaPo have confirmed the veracity of emails at the basis of several of the explosive NY Post reports. Experts interviewed by WaPo warned that the chain of custody of the data from Biden’s purported laptop is difficult to establish, and that WaPo’s copy of the laptop’s hard drive contained evidence that files are missing and could have been doctored. The experts did not find evidence that existing files had been intentionally tampered with, however.

WaPo took a copy of Biden’s laptop’s hard drive, given to the outlet by Republican activist Jack Maxey, to two independent experts for analysis. Of the nearly 129,000 emails contained on the hard drive, Johns Hopkins University security researcher Matt Green was only able to verify 1,828. Former National Security Agency operative Jake Williams was able to verify a much larger portion of the emails: nearly 22,000.

Hunter Biden sought to cash in with oligarchs during first Russian war on Ukraine, records show

President Joe Biden's son and his associates targeted Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina — who eventually was sanctioned by the U.S. a few years later in 2018 — for as much as $200 million after helping her get a bank account set up in America, the emails show.

Hunter Biden and his associates even arranged for Baturina and her husband, an ex-Moscow mayor, to meet with then-Vice President Joe Biden at an intimate dinner in Washington in 2015.

At the same time he and his team courted Baturina, Hunter Biden was securing lucrative board positions and consulting deals with Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky, a man whose company, Burisma Holdings, the United States and Great Britain wanted investigated for corruption.

File StateDeptOfficialKentTestifiesSenateOnAlleged BurismaCorruption.pdf

The delicate balancing act of cashing in on both the Russian and Ukrainian sides of the conflict left the younger Biden and his partners acutely aware that Moscow's military annexation of Ukraine's Crimean region in 2014 was a wild card that could scuttle the success of their business pursuits, the memos show.

Spy agency sought Hunter Biden laptop back in 2020 to see if family compromised

"A three-letter agency came to me and said, 'Hey, we've heard that you have access to a copy of the Hunter Biden hard drive. Could we get a copy?'" Shaffer said during the interview. "And I said, like, 'Do you know what's on there? I mean, we're talking about everything from child porn, to, you know, all these these issues regarding the president.'

"And they said, 'We don't care. ... We want to either confirm or refute it. We want to act factual. We don't have a political dog in the fight. What our concern is, is that if there's compromising information on that hard drive, this is before the election, the president could be compromised to the level of owing either China or or Ukraine something. And this is what this three letter agency was concerned about."

A U.S. official directly familiar with the effort confirmed the request to Just the News, saying the intelligence community wanted to know if anything on the hard drive had been hacked, whether the Biden family was compromised, and whether there were any patterns about how foreign adversaries were seeking to compromise prominent Americans.

🔥 CBS News reported yesterday that “more than 150 transactions involving either Hunter or James Biden’s global business affairs were flagged as concerning by U.S. banks for further review,” according to CBS News investigative reporter Catherine Herridge. “Some of those concerns included large wire transfers.”

I don’t know about you, but LARGE wire transfers are my favorite kind of wire transfer. They are SO much better than small wire transfers, know what I mean?

“This week, Grassley released bank records indicating James Biden’s company, The Lion Hall Group, was paid directly by a Chinese finance consulting firm,” Herridge explained. “In our interview, Grassley did not allege the Bidens broke the law, but he said it’s concerning that both Hunter and James Biden were promised retainers for their China work totaling $165,000 a month in 2017, after Joe Biden left the vice presidency.”

Hunter was doing pretty well for himself. His “board seat” at the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma was hauling in $83K a month.

But note the date in yesterday’s CBS report — 2017. That’s five years ago. The real story about all this is: why is it a story NOW? The corporate media was happy to ignore the Hunter Biden corruption story during the 2020 election season. Now, two MORE years later, it could fairly be criticized as “old news.” Could the media’s new enthusiasm for the Hunter corruption scandal have anything to do with the spectacle at the White House earlier this week where Obama and Harris are clearly seen dissing Joe Biden? Check out how Obama even ignores Biden as the former vice-president tries to get Obama’s attention by placing a hand on his shoulder — and leaving it there:

Key GOP senator blasts Biden family as 'grifters,' 'influence peddlers’ who jeopardize security

"They knew exactly what they were doing," Johnson told "Just the News — Not Noise." "They were using Vice President Biden's position and his name to peddle influence, and rake in, vacuum in millions of dollars from all over the world

"The Bidens are grifters. They're influence peddlers. They've made millions. They've compromised themselves, and they've compromised America's national security."

Johnson spoke on the Senate floor Tuesday with Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) about their ongoing investigation into the Biden family's shady financial connections, including partners tied to communist China and Russian oligarchs.

Johnson told Just the News Editor-in-Chief John Solomon the media performed a "limited mea culpa" after establishment outlets admitted that the Hunter Biden laptop story is real.

U.S. Intelligence Operations Against Americans

Anyways, back to the lies about Hunter Biden that helped influence an election. These weren’t limited to the usual suspects in media: Stelter, CNN, etc. Instead, we saw them from more than 50 former senior intelligence officials, from directors of the CIA to directors of the National Security Agency, who accused the damaging Hunter Biden information of being part of a Russian effort to interfere “in our democracy.”

Those officials included General Michael Hayden (a former director of both the CIA and NSA); John Brennan (former CIA Director); James Clapper (former Director of National Intelligence); and Leon Panetta (former CIA Director).

This was just another information campaign by the Intelligence Community, instituted for the purpose of influencing the 2020 election. The Intelligence Community (including those in its orbit and its former members) manipulated public opinion through the press to remove President Trump, to disenfranchise his voters and thwart President Trump’s agenda, to keep us in Afghanistan, and to keep us at odds with Russia.

There is the infamous September 3, 2020 article from The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg - where Goldberg accuses Trump of calling dead American soldiers “losers.” Goldberg cited anonymous sources who told him that Trump lied when blaming the rain for a canceled “visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris in 2018.”

Goldberg’s story - which was really the story of his anonymous sources - fell apart within the first paragraph. I do not exaggerate. There is a lie in the first paragraph. Navy FOIA records, obtained by Buzzfeed’s Jason Leopold in 2019, document that the visit was actually cancelled due to rain. These included an e-mail to the Marine One crew stating “Wx [shorthand for weather] will not support today’s mission.”
