My mum cried when she heard the story of this man that lost his wife. They were on the roof of their home when the house split and his wife was dangling and he was holding onto her as tight as he could but the water was too strong. Right before she went she told him "you can't hold onto me, take care of the kids and the grandkids". It's sad that people have to lose loved ones like that. To have to watch them slip from your own hands. :sad:

I know, I've been watching the coverage all day on CNN. It's so heartbreaking; so many people's lives have been dramatically affected. Even the lady on CNN sounded like she wanted to cry when she was describing the aftermath. :sad:
