Husky CRE

Is anyone missing a Husky in CRE?
There was one this morning walking VERY slowly down Catalina. I stopped and tried to get him in my truck, he was definitely going to get hit otherwise, I watched 2 or 3 near misses as I was trying to get him.
After trying for an hour to unsuccessfully get him in my truck, I opted to call animal control.
Hopefully someone will claim this VERY sweet girl.

No, but if my girls keep acting the way they have been this morning, I'm sending them to Catalina with a stick and hobo bag each tied to their harnesses and let you call AC on them too!

And that's a joke for all of you ASPCA uptights out there!

That's funny I always tell my girls when we're getting ready for their walk that we're going to the pound.

Mine can join yours. I went outside last night to get her in for the night and saw that she had chewed up one of her bowls. Put a big hole in the side of it. I told her that she could either get food or water tomorrow because I only had one bowl now. (just joking of course).

umm...think that one is a boy. Is it the same one you saw this morning or are there two of them in the shelter?

I believe this is the ame one I saw this morning. I never call animals the right sex, FCS yells at me all the time when I call our cat a "he", she's a she. LOL

Ok, just wanted to make sure in case I see a 'lost dog' poster or hear of someone looking for their dog. I do the same thing...everything little, cute, fluffy is a "she" and everything big and bulky is a "he". :lmao:

Everytime any animal goes near our house the boys attempt to corral it into the backyard!! They saw the next door neighbors cat the other day and was yelling at daddy to go get it!

Sorry to say, that is not the dog that we were chasing this morning. I called tri-county to verify. The dog in the picture was brought in 2/25/09. I called Animal Control and they were not able to find the dog this morning so he/she is still roaming around. We last saw her off of Bronco and Catalina. The dog looks almost identical to the one that the shelter has. I am going to ride around and look for him/her when I get off. That poor baby. I can tell you that the dog is very friendly and approachable.

The dog is alive, well, and back home. I saw it today walking back from the beach. It lives near there and was chained up outside. I stopped and asked the people out front if the dog had gotten loose last week and they said yes. I told them that people were worried about it because some had seen several near misses with cars hitting the dog. They were grateful that people tried to rescue the dog.
