I wonder if this Kinzinger fellow also celebrates the deaths of Palestinians and the recent intentional murder of reporter Shireen Abu Akleh being shot in the head by Israeli forces while wearing her blue helmet and blue press vest with the word "PRESS" across her chest and back? Unmistakably a member of the press.

I'm not celebrating the death of Russians - but I'm not going to mourn them either, after the things they've done to civiliians.
Maybe they were conscripted, but nothing excuses going door to door just to kill civilians or attacking helpless people.
The Russians have already had newscasters GIGGLE on air over the idea of nuking New York and other western cities.
So they're reaping what they've sown.
But I wish it was over. I am glad that instead of intimidating the Ukrainians, they have instead,enraged them. They smacked a hornet's nest, thinking they'd cower in fear.

Our US newscasters actually giggle on air over the death of their fellow Americans and advocate them being rounded up and either incarcerated or exterminated. So I can't really dog Russians in general too much because of the way their paid performers behave.
Russia is paying the price for underestimating its' adversary. The typical bully picking on someone that is capable to standing up to them despite overwhelming odds of being pulverized.

Being that they are terrorists, they do what they know how to do. Funny how people react when their target strikes back. They act like the goat humpers are all cherub and innocent. Wow, really? I only ever hear VERY biased liberal opinion types say outrageous stupid stuff on air about people they don't like. I don't hear the regular news people get all gleeful about killing people.
They also haven't really engaged in war in decades. Their troops have no experience and their people are unaccustomed to family serving.
At least, nowhere near on this scale. And it shows. Lower level soldiers - your regular rank and file - show very little discipline and skill. They don't function as a team, but as conscripts under a leader they fear. They have structures too filled with politcal decisions that don't translate to winning wars.
I think China is realizing this - you can't invade an island 100 miles away with troops that have never seen combat.
I get that they're biased, but the newscasters who deliver the news itself on most networks usually just deliver NEWS.
I don't imagine the likes of Walter Cronkite ever giggling at the idea of Moscow erased in a nuclear holocaust - nor any of his successors.
I wouldn't put it past ANY of the opinion anchors, but they don't deliver news.

Every time I've tried to watch the network news - ABC/NBC/CBS - it's a bunch of Democrat talking points. The only unbiased news anchor that comes to mind is Brett Baier.
I've definitely seen bias, and it's of the kind where the announcer is so biased, they don't even realize it. For example, right after the election, just about every LOCAL news broadcaster would describe the election fraud or the Hunter laptop as "debunked" or "proven false" even though no such evidence or investigation showed that at all. They were simply repeating what they'd heard. Otherwise, they were reporting news. The only commentary they'd bring would be about local events, the sports teams, the weather and such.
The OPINION types easily get to say all they want without being civil. When Rush died, I've no doubt that many of these types were celebrating and talking about Rush's experiences in HELL. EVERY time a conservative caught the COVID or in any way suffered, they were GLEEFUL. Revolting.
I just don't recall the same kind of giggling when, say, Iraqis got blown away or the Taliban got bombed. I remember jokes - for example, a soldier would describe a tactic where they lured the enemy into a bunker and blew it up, referring to it as "Allah's Waiting Room". It's been my observation that no one hates war more than those who have to fight it.
That's because those people aren't their enemies - Trump voters are.
