The son of U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., will spend decades in prison after he was convicted of killing a sheriff's deputy in a crash while fleeing law enforcement.

Nice to see the fam isn't covering and making excuses for him, unlike *some* political offspring we could mention.

I have watched a lot of Utube video's of people fleeing the police in vehicle's.
Flying along at speeds greater than 100 mph.
In many of them they drive for miles. How many miles does it take for a speeder to realize they aren't going to lose the cops.?
Some have their tires flattened by stop sticks and still they race along on flat tires.
Where the phuck do they think they are going?
We have computers in cars now can't these computers limit the speed to 100 MPH?

Now I like good acceleration & power as well as anyone, but there are at least 30 cars now being built with 600 or more hp.
Nobody needs a 600 hp car or a 200 hp motorcycle.

Nobody needs 18 flavors of Doritos and Oreos, yet here we are.

Well, they're retarded or they wouldn't have to run from the cops in the first place.

On another note, all our resident progbots seem to have evaporated. Is their propaganda contract up and now they have to find real jobs? Did they hang themselves in despair? Did they move to Europe?

Questions....

If allowed, new cars will be fully controlled remotely, basically shut down the vehicle if need be. Lots of article now on the future of cars and privacy. Double-edged sword. As soon as you build in these features, they will be exploited.

Many things are invading our privacy, and there are rumors of car computers eventually not allowing cars to exceed the speed limit.
Some things the Government wants are way past where they should be but other things are ridiculous like 600 hp cars.
Hard to get a modicum of common sense into the arguments.

I beg to differ I love big horsepower and torque

He'll be 71, young enough to start over. Maybe his mother will give him a belt and a ceiling hook for his birthday.

What if I moved to Canada? You used to write that instead of Europe.

Enjoy your King.

And then some smart guy will figure out how to disable this feature. Then the next step will be autodisabler check points to verify that you can be disabled at will.

There you are! Are you wallowing in despair? Do you have Tik Tok vids to prove it and will you pretty please post them?

:flowers:
Is that what you feed on? Misery?

Someone posted this link earlier today, kinda mind blowing, guess you had a column here 28 years ago. Most of it is just deranged ramblings, but I found this poignant.

In America, when we allegedly break the law, we're expected to appear in court and explain why we didn't do it. Honest! That's the way it works, ask any law enforcement official. Does it matter that you're the President of the United States? If he had killed someone, would he still be protected by executive privilege? Where is the line drawn between a not-so-bad crime and a real crime? And, make no mistake, sexual harassment is a real crime. Ask your boss.

Why? Is it because Hillary had to constantly suck it up and pretend to be the loving wife while her husband was publicly humiliating her? Because I thought that was sad AF, and I think that set the psychological path that took her to her bitter loser alcoholic nutjob present.

There was a part of me that wanted to see her win just because she'd been kicked in the teeth so many times by Bill, but she has all the charisma of cat poop and the pity/payoff jobs she got she couldn't be bothered to actually show up for. I wonder sometimes what would have happened to her if she hadn't gotten mixed up with Bill and dirty politics. Was she just born to be kicked in the teeth or was it a goal she chased endlessly?

When she said, "I suppose I could have stayed home, baked cookies, and had teas" I was like, good for you girl! Give 'em hell! Then it turned out she *was* one of those "little women" that I despise. What kind of freaking feminist role model is that? There should be a folk song "The Ballad of Hillary Clinton". It's a poignant story indeed.
