Anyone ever read this? It was written in '57 I think, but set in the 70's. Good vampire book with a scientific perspective.

I just recently watched "The Vampire Lovers" (1970) again, and it's lousy compared to the book it was taken from.....Sheridan Le Fanu's "Carmilla", written in the 1800s.
Staying way too busy....not enough time for movies and books anymore!
