I do not understand the difference from being Gay, Tranny, or a Drag queen .....

Do gays just like their sex and like others of the same sex no desire to be a tranny?
Do tranny's just feel they are different an want to change their sexual appearance and the be "heterosexual" or be "gay"?
Do Drag Queens just want to dress like women or do they really want to be transgendered and become gay or homosexual?
Can a woman be a Drag King?

Life is tough for us old folks

What confuses me is when they write that someone is a transgendered woman. So are they a biological female that thinks she's a man? Or is it a man that likes to wear dresses & wigs?

What they should write is biomale wowan or biofemale guy. By utilizing the bio term, it eliminates any confusion.

And why would they EVER dress as a woman and go into a biker bar? Did he really think he was gonna go home with a big strong man?

I really hate idiots trying to prove a point, never turns out well.

I used to think transgender was someone who went thru the surgery to change, like Bruce/Kaitlyn Jenner. I don't know if that's right or not. So what's a guy who solely dresses and wants to be a woman (but has relationships with men), but still has all his male parts called? He hasn't gone thru a "transition" (as in hormones/surgeries) into a female, only dresses as one. It's all very confusing.

For your consideration ...

That’s all fine and good except it’s pushed on you until you are made to care, made to have to call people by certain pronouns, accused of ‘misgendering’ someone.
You are made to ‘give a fig’ about it.
Well, that's the standard refrain. But the reality is no one is "forcing" anything on anyone. You are only perceiving these sorts of things as "force" and "demands".

I'd suggest the Negativity Bias is at play here, wherein "news" stories regarding this stuff are promulgated for the sole purpose of triggering those who are easily triggered. I'd further suggest that it's nothing more than a distraction. And it works, as countless examples of rage posts here would suggest.

I don't think I've ever used a pronoun other than "they" which seems to have evolved into more of a term of the parlance of our modern era. For example, I walk into a store or an office and ask a person at the front where I can go to talk to someone about X. I go there, and say, "I'm looking for information about X." "Well, you're in the wrong place, buddy, go down the hall. Who sent you here?"

"I asked at the desk and they sent me to you."

Yes ... dating same gender

Do tranny's just feel they are different an want to change their sexual appearance and the be "heterosexual" or be "gay"?

I'm a woman in a man's body .. I want to ' appear ' be treated as a woman use women's spaces .... date men or lesbians [ rejected as a man playing dress up by men or by lesian's because lesbians consider trans as MEN and want NOTHING to do with the dick ]

Do Drag Queens just want to dress like women or do they really want to be transgendered and become gay or homosexual?

As Far As I Know - Drag Queens are performative like Ru Paul - mostly gay, but not Trans [ trans is a mental state ' I'm a woman ' ] Drag men are gay who dress like women ...

Can a woman be a Drag King?

Is drag king even a thing, that would be a lesbian who is performative as a man ?

Cross Dressers and Drag Queens have been around for a long time ...

this trans situation is something exploding recently - the new mental disease 3 yrs ago EVERYONE'S child was On the Spectrum ... now there are all these men who are ' women '

Who is forcing you to do anything, homeslice?
Me? No, not yet. I've told others if I am required to use "pronouns" or required to place them in my work email signature, they will be "Lord" and "Master".

But it's already happened that people have been suspended from work, received reprimands or told to pack their bags because they either refuse or God help them, didn't use them properly when describing someone. It's already happened at schools.

Perhaps you think "forcing" requires a threat of physical torture or death. Then I submit I don't want to hear how people are forced to shop outside of their urban deserts or other such use of the word. Being required to do something or else losing your job - to me, that's "force" or "compulsion".

The argument is no different than that of getting the covid jab. We are people borne of freewill, and more importantly in an at-will employment environment -- that is the way we want it.

The only firing stories I've seen are teachers who refused to call little Johnny by their preferred sex or pronoun or whatever. Working for the State comes will all sorts of things one will have to give up in order to secure that job. The stories I recall reading, the protagonists were filing suit, but not sure how or if they've been adjudicated or settled.

Life is a serious of choices. Choose wisely.
