I went to the Gatornationals for the first time apprx. 13 yrs ago. Loved it. I was bumped into (litterally) twice by John Force. I got a couple of autographs that day as well. Lots of fun. Spent most of our time at the fence right before the finish line. That way they were at top speed by the time they reached us. The first time they went by I was like :yikes::lmao:

No matter how hard I try, I just can't get into NASCAR. I'm looking at the Bristol race on TV and short tracks are not for someone trying to get into racing.........BORING.

Short tracks are the most exciting. Bumping, shoving, tempers.....

The cars on large tracks get strung out and can become sleepers.

Pick a driver and follow him. :yay:

It's also a very different perspective between watching it on TV and being at the track. I think pretty much all of us posting here have been to at least one track. There is just SO much going on around you it's very hard to follow sometimes. I got spoiled tho. My first experience was at Bristol, and my bro and I had hot pit passes. No finer way to get the thrill.

Franchitti just learned what payback means in short track NASCAR. :killingme

They can't wreck each other like that in IndyCar. That just doesn't work out for anyone.

Dario,
Welcome to NASCAR.

Signed,
Pissed off
