I Did It!!!!!!!!

I was going through some serious TV withdraw and HAD to figure out what to do to watch at least my video collection. I was sitting here thinking about just pulling the broken TV off of the cabinet and onto my head, when I remembered my old beautiful 98 computer. I took the DVD drive out of it and put it in my current system, downloaded all the needed drivers and can now watch STAR WARS 1 to help calm my scifi withdraw! but it tells me my directx drivers are out of date so i can't watch TV using this card but they are current at 9.0c.

oh yes oh yes oh yes got to go so i can watch it. you never know how much you miss something until you sit in your quiet house with no other interactive activity then looking at these damn forums watching them go off to watch their 24 and other shows. GOD i need to get a woman to get my mind off this sh!t. OK I'm done. muahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I'm glad you fixed your computer so you can watch dvd's, I definitely would not want to be in your shoes. I couldn't handle not having a tv.

now that its morning and the alcohol has left me and I'm looking at my old computer taken apart, i just wonder how I did it without blowing my newer system up or electrocuting myself I really hope I pluged all those wires in the right places inside the puter
