I drove the Green Hell (Nurburgring/Nordschleife)!
I drove the Nurburgring yesterday. What a track! It is very narrow and has a whole lot of elevation change. I almost ran off track on one occasion, but corrected and was back on my way, but a little slower. I wish I had more time to learn the track and have my personal car on track. With the track being 13 miles long and over 100 corners I would need a while. The ride along I had was very good too as I rode in a M5 with a driver that has an international comp license and has raced a the 24hour ring race a few times. We accelerated up to 160 mph at some places, which is very impressve in a pure street car on such a track where brakes are usually the limiting factor. I had an great time with a group of awsome motorports enthusiasts. I strongly recommend a visit to "The Green Hell" when in Germany
