I don't think it's required to put a number on it. Let's just go with IE# is crap.

We (as an organization) still use IE8 here. I use Firefox though. You can't download FF on your computer yourself? Or do they have it blocked?

I have IE9 on my desktop and it is every bit as fast as Chrome and Foxfire. I wonder what the problem is
I don't know but there was a VERY noticeable difference right away. Webpages take longer to load and there is an obvious lag when I click "New posts" compared to IE8.

They have "rights & privileges" set to where we cannot DL anything without being an administrator. :ohwell: I use FF at home and love it.

I use IE 9 and have no problems with performance. The only issue I have seen is that these forums look like crap and are barely readable. Every other site I normaly use looks the same as on IE 8 though.

I've attached a screen shot in case someone knows how to fix it.

On IE 8 and Firefox 'control =' zooms in, 'control -' zooms out. Also Page/Zoom from the menu bar. Should work the same on IE9. If it works like FireFox, it will remember the zoom level for that website and shouldn't affect other websites.

Holding control and turning the mousewheel changes the zoom. I don't have any issue with that. Its the formatting as displayed in IE 9 makes it hard to read. Text is displayed below the user info box instead of to the right, and all the colors are gone from the main forum screen. Several other format issues as well, all together make it hard to read.

Ok, thought you were complaining about the small size. Have you tried Compatibility Mode? Page/Compatibility View Settings, and add the website.
