I got it! And they met my counter! Plus there is a bonus! AND i found a place for my horse for $150 per month (which is what I pay now)! And they want me immediately! And my ex is buying my house!

So I get to move to NJ asap.

I am happy.

Thank all of you for you good wishes, and thanks also to those who advised me on the thank-you letters. :huggy: I am really psyched, everything is happening so fast. Can't wait to start the house hunt - am hoping for a quaint little Victorian... may end up with a 2005 townhome, but whatever. It's all an adventure!

Wayne - it is west of Paterson, so I am way up there. :crazy: Northern NJ is a crazy place, but I will not be living there.

One good thing about house hunting in NJ right now - I will know where the flood zone is. :twitch:

Congratulations on the job, AMP! :cheers: Isn't it amazing how fast it all happens?

My dad's family was from Hackensack, which is only a couple of miles from Paterson. I remember visiting my great-grandmother and great-uncle there as a youngster and being amazed at all the hustle and bustle in the city.
