I had to put our old family cat down yesterday...

RIP Quinn
It was so sad.. My mom is in China for a couple weeks and I was/am in charge of taking care of her two kitties whiles she is gone. Jimmy, who was 15 and Bean, the newbie, 2. Wed. I let Jimmy in and Bean out. Jimmy went right to the food and looked normal. When I came back Fri. morn, I saw Jimmy had pooped in various places around the house, which is abnormal for him. :( Then I found him under my old bedroom dresser.. barely alive. Poor little guy started purring when I pulled him out to hug him. I felt so guilty. I knew right then I had to take him in.:bawl:He was showing signs of a spinal clot. I knew right away because his brother, Casey had the same thing happen about ten years ago. We didn't know anything about it then and were so heartbroken when we had to put Casey down. So in a way, I wasn't surprised when Jimmy had the same symptoms. The vet (Muddy Creek Animal Hospital) was very sweet and made a paw print and took some hair to be sent to my mom's house. So sad.
