I Have A Bee Infestation

There is a huge bee population living inside one of my trees. I cannot begin to estimate how many there might be. They are small, black and yellowish-grey, and fur-covered (looks like fur to me). I heard I was not supposed to harm bees; that they may serve a useful purpose to someone out there. If you want them, come get 'em! Or tell me how to eradicate them before my family gets stung.

Hmm... I'm not very sympathetic towards bees... especially bees in swarms. This group is probably the only one around that would be:
ASSOCIATION OF SOUTHERN MARYLAND BEEKEEPERS

If no one there can suggest any way to "humanely" move them for a "purpose" then I would just do what you need to do...

I've seen a sign at an Amish place of business about bees. Had a picture and said to call the number if you come across a large swarm. There is a certain type of bee I believe that is scarce.
