It's so easy to get information and request a change, they don't give you a bunch of crap. So far both them and the IRS have just been a joy every time I've had to contact them for something. I explain the problem, and they say no sweat, I'll take care of it. AND THEN THEY DO!
Contrast that with the American Express people who hassle you as much as they possibly can. It's a simple friggin' question: here's what I need to have happen, what do I need to do in order to accomplish it? Before you're allowed to talk to a human, you have to run the "Press 1 for..." gauntlet, and half the time they don't have a number for what I need. So I just start pressing stuff and eventually get to a human, after a 45 minute hold while operators are assisting other customers. Then Ahmet comes on and we start the communication dance.
BUT you call the Comptroller and immediately get a voice saying operators are busy, please hold the line. Then 5 minutes later, an English speaking human comes on and says, "How may I help you?" You tell her, she goes fixee fixee and reminds you to have a nice day.
You'd think the government would suck and the private company would be efficient.
