Man, I hope she wins the nomination. Any chance if she doesn't win, they ignore the primary winner and install her anyway?

I hope everyone who has student loans votes for the Democrats or Independents in their precinct this year.

Then I hope the Democrats will come up with a "real candidate". We're in a flipping war that is devastating our economy... the last thing the Dems need is the backlash of running a black woman for President. We need a real man to get us out of this... not someone paid by the rich to control "their" message.

If you have student loans you want to write off.... you need to vote Democrats or Independent!!! You can stay with your Republican Party... their platforms are good... but you need to send a clear message....

Why? Biden tried that and got smacked down by the Supremes.

Then I hope the Democrats will come up with a "real candidate".

Define "real" candidate. If you mean one with sensible policies that are palatable to more than half the country, that's not gonna happen. The fringe owns that Party now, and the best they can do is make a bunch of promises they can't legally keep and hope enough stupid people fall for it.

yeah, they haven’t really had that since Kennedy or Truman.

If either of them were alive today, they be called a right wing fascist by their own party.

i’m just gonna sit back and wait for Civil War II to start. :coffee:

See, and I'd say it took a sharp turn after Clinton. He was fairly mainstream, especially when you compare him to today's Democrats. Then the Republicans started getting lazy - I swear if 2008 had been anyone other than McCain, Obama would have never won that election. I know McCain liked to blame Sarah Palin for his loss, but that's just more of the bullshit ego finger pointing that made me hate him in the first place.

I can tell you flat out I never was a fan of Clinton because I saw him as nothing more than a bullshit artist. That’s sleazy punk in high school or college that always had some kind of an angle on crap. Having James Carville is his campaign manager, only solidified my opinion.

And the fact that he came with that harpy, didn’t help matters much.

I grant you, you are correct about it taking a sharp turn after Clinton. It went from bad to horrible.

Obama/McCain was a tough election cuz I didn't care for either and I had a stronger dislike for McCain at that time. Considered sitting it out but held my nose and voted McCain.

Back in 96, one of the senior lineman I was teamed up with made the same observation about Dole. He was another watered down option from the GOP.

Oh, I completely agree. Clinton was "that douche" who's all wholesome and clean cut in front of adults, then date-rapes their daughters.

Why do you believe that people shouldn't pay back the money that they borrowed? I paid my debts off years ago and nobody helped me "write them off".
