BMW is offering some GREAT incentives on their stock of 2006 models..

IF I can find the one I want I don't know if I can hold out..

And if I can't hold out, I might be strung up and gutted from a tree in the yard..

BUT.. 120 days of deferred payments... 3 months of FREE payments (paid by BMW) so 7 months until my first payment is due, July 2007, plus other incentives like $2000 less then MSRP.. etc..

Eligible New Models:
• 2006 K1200R(look ylexot!!!)
• 2006 K1200LT
• 2006 R1200GS (my choice) (Adventure is not eligible)
• 2006 R1200RT


Damn them and their tempting incentives..

Bob can keep the current bike and BG can buy the GS for herself, put a sidecar on it for lil bob and ride with him off into the sunset, avoiding the previously mentioned stringin, guttin and blood spillin.

I on the other hand may need some protection. 540 miles is not enough to prevent bodily harm from a spouse should one fall in lust at the International Motorcycle Show in Seattle this weekend!!!! From the looks of the flyer, BMW will have a full stable of bikes on deeesplay!!

I lucked out, nobody has the 2006 GS'.. the closest I could find I think was in Georgia.. but I did just tell our niece I may come down that way to visit.. hmmmmmmm..

BG wants a F650, I got her to sit on one at Bob's, and a friend of ours rides one now and loves it.. (she traded up from a Harley LowRider).. so only time will tell..

Seahawks pulled out a win, in the SNOW?? Who would have thought. I was tempted to shut it off after the first five minutes and three interceptions.

I am so very blessed
You presume, Bob, that a bike is at the top of my priority list for "must haves". Unfortunately, for you, it isn't. Although the idea of cruising on a BMW F650 down a scenic road on a beautiful fall afternoon with you at my side does sound very appealing, there are about five things that I'd really much rather have first.

1) an addition to the house
2) a cute little convertible
3) a nice cruise vacation (on a boat, silly boy, not on a blacktop road)
4) take some classes at a Chef's Academy
5) get a BMW F650 bike

See......my list is full, and despite your desire for me to get a bike, just so that you can justify getting yourself a bike, too, I'd really rather wait on that purchase until I can spread out in my newly-enlarged home.

Don't forget, the next major purchase for us is MINE! :diva:

I am going to have to look at these bikes. While I really like the cruiser harley looking bikes, I'm not liking my new bike very much.
