I am not rich and I need a new camera bag as the one I have is not going to hold three lenses and the camera and all my other stuff, like extra batteries, filters, brushes, wires, blah blah blah. The stuff I am seeing online (ritz camera, Dell, Amazon.com) are either too expensive or just not big enough. HELP! (remember, :nomoney:) :lmao:

I went to the thrift store in Lex Park and bought an old leather purse and use that as a camera bag. All it needed was some saddle soap, it was already broke in and all my stuff fits just great in there. When someone looks at me funny like I'm carrying a purse ( they know I hate purses) I just say camera bag:) It only cost me fifty cents on a Monday or Tuesday there, probably a couple dollars on another day.

What?!
I have an Eddie Bauer backpack that is actually a diaper bag. Has tons of little compartments inside that lenses fits into perfectly and tons of pockets.

I have this Canon 200 EG. You can find it for around $40 at amazon. It's not as nice as the the high end bags but it's a good value...as far as camera bags go. I don't like having the Canon emblem on it (advertising that i'm carrying camera gear) and planned on removing it but i'm afraid it will damage the bag. I plan to sew a patch or something over it.

This one is similar to mine, not too expensive and good quality.

Hey X, This is the backpack I got. I had one about the same size as the one you listed, and moved up to this.

I was in the same dilemma recently, not enough room in the old bag for everything. While walking through Lowes one day, a tool bag caught my eye. Lots of pockets, zippered compartments etc. Plain blue and gray without a camera name patch on it, and cheap as compared to camera bags. Only thing I did was cut a piece of foam rubber to fit in the bottom.

I don't like the way camera bags look, so I put my lenses in Lowepro lens cases and throw everything in a sporty messenger bag - it's more my style. Probably not the "safest" route, but I don't baby my camera.

That being said, 90% of the time I just toss my camera (with my go-to lens, the 50mm f/1.8) in my purse. I like to keep it with me all the time, cause you never know what you'll see.

Tracy Joy has some cute bags, although I'm not sure how roomy they actually are.

So you were "allowed" to buy a $500 camera, but not a $70 bag to put it in? :eyebrow:

At the time we had the money but since the truck got a rock in the windshield, and my car got trashed twice, we now have :nomoney:

And it was 800 with both lenses.
