I have a Kodak Easy Share camera that I got a few years back for Christmas. I love it. Lately, it has taken horrible pictures. I'm no pro, so I just keep everything on auto. When I take pics inside during conferences, the photos are way too dark. Then I took some last Saturday night during the snow and this is what I get... How can I make them look better and brighter?

Did you try the flash for the indoor pics?

If you have the instructions, I'd read up on them. Sounds like you need to slow your shutter down.

I have that same camera and it is a piece of crap! Hopefully I get a new one for Christmas.

I like my easy share but you have to mess around with the settings to get good pics.

It goes without saying that I would love a digital slr!

Flash should help indoors! That outdoor picture, the flash won't help. Flash will only travel 10 feet or so with that camera I would guess. Using Auto mode can't automatically make everything turn out. Low light and night pictures just don't really work on Auto on any camera. You really have to know how to use manual modes and long exposure.

I also have a kodak easy share C875 and love it. I go to the scn setting on mine and then select the type of setting I need. There is one for night landscapes, museum, candle light, night portrait etc
