I need to gripe about this:

In one of my RV Facebook groups a woman asked the following question:

Been to Branson and Pigeon Forge, are there any other places in the US like them?

Note that she says specifically that she's been to Branson and Pigeon Forge and is looking for something similar. Also, for anyone who hasn't been to either of these places, they are similar in that they are in a wooded rural-esque setting with an enormous glut of tourist commercialism and almost exclusively family entertainment. So you get a mental picture of what this woman is looking for - something similar to Branson and Pigeon Forge.

Some of the responses:

Gatlinburg (which is about 5 miles from Pigeon Forge, so pretty much the same place)
Disneyland and Disneyworld
Nashville
Myrtle Beach
Moab
New Orleans
Hawaii
Memphis
Branson
Dollywood (which is actually in Pigeon Forge)

:lmao: :banghead:

These people don't even freaking read the question before they start spewing out idiocy like a schizophrenic with Tourette's. I watched this trainwreck with fascination until it got too gruesome and I had to look away. I suggested the Rapid City area, including Deadwood and Custer and Keystone. This durhard replies to me: "Oh, that's just a bunch of tourist crap...." :roflmao:

OMG these people..... 😖

It's everywhere...

Look at the classifieds, ad advertising : 2018 Ford, Excellent condition, $12,000. No swaps, price not negotiable.

Response1: How much is it?
Response2: What condition?
Response3: Would you take a 2015 Seadoo jetski for it?
Response4: I'll give you $9k cash

Saw it here the other day with you post about the mall security guard where you actually said it was probably a security guard and it morphed into you picking on cops. People aren't capable of reading more than 7 words in an ad or article before they put their 2 cents in.

Or when they ask the location and the zip code is clearly listed.

Another one:

We will be vacationing on the island soon with 2 littles who are gluten free. Looking for family friendly restaurants with gluten free menus.

looking for recommendations.

Response:

Gabriella's, which is an Italian pizza and pasta place with no gluten-free options.

Another one:

Tom & Jerry’s, a beach bar specializing in sandwiches and breaded seafood, but mostly alcohol.

 :banghead:

Those just look like bot responses for advertising regardless of the question.

Reading comprehension skills seem to be lacking with most people these days. From running help wanted ads to detailed letters I wrote about the store closing to putting some items on FB marketplace, I am truly over having to deal with people's stupidity!
