a decent, EASY to use point and shot camera for my father (who is WAY technology challenged :lmao:) to take on a duck hunting trip to N. Dakota in a few wks. Any recommendations? Something like in the $120-$150ish range. If it's dropped in the mud, he not out a whole lot ya type thing. 6-8MP

Auto focus, auto flash. Literally, you press on click shoot and press off. You could make sure the rest of it (turning on all the auto things) is on. Batteries are 2 AA, which is great if he's going out into the woods for awhile, as theres nowhere to recharge a Lithium Ion....so give him a 6 pack of AA'a and off he goes! And it has "Image stabilization".

Grab:
Newegg.com - Transcend 2GB Secure Digital (SD) Flash Card Model TS2GSDC - Flash Memory
for 2gb SD card (compatible with above camera).

Total for this: $93 after S&H

Picked up a Canon a590is on Sunday for $149.99. Nice camera, has an "easy" mode for those that dont want to fiddle with settings, but also has aperture priority, shutter priority, and a manual mode. Runs on two AA batteries and takes SD memory cards. Has image stabilization, ,nice big LCD, a functioning view finder, etc. Target and Best Buy both have it for the price above, might be cheaper online.
