I'm not sure who comes after Trump, but it will most likely be someone who'll **** it all up again and won't continue the rebuilding of our country. We do stupid things in this country (like supporting Socialism).

I was just talking about this yesterday. When Trump is done in 2025, who will come after him with the same energy? Will the movement of demanding outsiders keep moving forward? I can't think of anyone. Will Pence run? He is just too low-key, and will be a let-down to the base.
I have to imagine Pence would be ripe for a presidential run. 8 years of OJT would be a lot better experience that what any other candidate could offer.
Perhaps another business person will toss their hat in the ring. Given the results of moving from career politicians, this makes sense. But I have to think the amount of scrutiny that the current president is getting has to be a huge deterrent.

That's what I admire most about Trump is, where most folks would have said "f### this, I don't need this crap, I'm going back to being a comfy millionaire", he stays focused on his cause. Not only is he getting things done, but he seems to be having fun with all of the nonsense. That's why, for a lot of Trump supporters, 2024 will be a let-down.

Don't think of it as voting for somebody you don't think will do good , think of it as voting against somebody you know will not!

I am far from being in the 1%, but I am seriously starting to wonder if retirement life wouldn't be much better in another country. If the Wealth Tax is enacted, what is stopping the rich from moving their money offshore. It is 2020, internet banking does exist. What is the advantage for any millionaire, billionaire, or even couple hundred thousandaire of being a US citizen?

Unless you have the ability to get citizenship in another country and are willing to relinquish your U.S. citizenship, then merely moving to another country for retirement won't you a bit of good since you'll still be liable to the U.S. for income tax.
If you don't realize the value of U.S. citizenship (the best and most successful nation in human civilization) for anyone of any income bracket, then maybe this isn't the place for you. You should go. I'll even buy you the airplane ticket.
