it would be a nice afternoon for a ride. Haven't been on the bike for about two weeks. So I get the gear on, go out to the garage to fire it up.....
nada. Cranks over, no vroom vroom. I guess I pissed off the motorcycle gods.
Oh well, the wife's bike works. Won't she be surprised when she gets home.

Interesting. I was planning to ride on Wednesday, went out to start the bike and got crank-crank-clunk. I haven't had a chance to look at it, but it did not sound good. I'm hoping that it was just a weak battery, but I'm not optimistic.

Just had a look see and it appears to be bad plugs. I got a nice jolt off the plug wire, but no spark in the gap. If I keep cranking it the battery will be next.

I really think mine sounded like something broke in the motor. I tried to crank it again and just got the click sound.

Put the new regulator in the other day. The battery still isn't charging. Guess it's time to replace the stator. I've never pulled a motor before. Guess this is going to be fun!!

That new Bonneville is looking better every day. If only the budget holds out through Taxes.

I'd say a bad tune-up? Running rich? If they both fouled at the same time at least your carbs or TB's are balanced..
