When it comes to minors, we as adults should not only have the right of self-defense of ourselves, but we should also have the right of self-defense of minors who cannot defend themselves. If dad felt his daughter was in harms way - she was previously raped by this dirtbag - then he should have every right to defend her in whatever way he sees fit WITH NO CHARGES BROUGHT AGAINST HIM! I wouldn't be opposed to having the right of cutting the dirtbag's balls off and putting them in his mouth before shooting him.
