Came back from Guatemala today….fishing.
No Kiosks, No Forms. No Covid question. Had a test yesterday, no one asked to see the result. Handed my Passport to Immigration Official…looked at it took my picture…have a nice day. Picked up baggage..no customs people at all.

What’s up?

They let Guatemalans roll right in no questions asked, per Sleepy Joe's orders, so it would really be something if they gave you a problem.

I had a friend tell me last night something similar when he got off a cruise ship last month - like nothing he’s seen before.

Did you catch anything? How was the experience? I've been looking at Costa Rican big game charter packages. I might have to pull the trigger, depending on how much it costs.

Guatemala is a.ways a hot fishing spot, just not a great place socially. Costa Rica is a lot more enjoyable. Restaurants, neat small towns, safe.

We know the family that runs the mainland ferry services and own local hotels etc on Roatan. Their fast ferry has our stabilization equipment installed. I've been trying to come up with a good excuse to pay them a visit and charge it off the the company..LOL. Last time I was in Guatemala was way back in 1974. I'm sure it's changed a bit since then; I was never near the coast anyway.
