Just heard a call from Calvert Animal Control, a dog is 60 yards out in the creek, fell through the ice. Animal Control is being smart about this, they are calling for backup, asking for assistance from someone that knows how to execute a ice rescue.
I hope we don't hear any more calls like this. LOts of thin ice around, this time it's a dog, next call could be a kid.
