Swimming is an option....


Just not on this beach....


Fishing off the pier? I don't think so....


But ice fishing is possible on Lake Canoy today...


Providing DNR is not looking of course.

This is what the river looked like 2 days ago before being ice over...


This is the lighthouse fence-nothing but ice. The Enterprise did have a better pic of the other side of the fence - it was too damn cold for me to get out of the truck and get a good one!


And this is what the bay looked like 2 days ago - very calm and soothing, though it was only 18º outside that day!

Ok one more just to remind us of how bad it was earlier in the week with the snow drifting across the roadways. This was in Scotland....

MD is a beautiful state in all seasons, for sure. Now dump a bunch of the taxes, bad gun laws, etc., it could be a good place to live in.
