I'd vote for this guy

I feel like Tim Kaine is too embedded and VA voters are too stupid so he probably won't win but maybe he'll inspire other young anti-fascists to step up.

First I have heard of him, but that's a really good campaign ad.

I listened to several interviews with Cao when he ran against Wexton in 22 and he came off as extremely polished and knowledgeable on the issues. He also offered SOLUTIONS that did not blame the former president. :shocking:
Wexton was sooo bad, I was sure he would have won. But then '22 was the Year of Abortion and he had the wrong genitalia.

I mean, campaign ads are specifically designed to position the candidate and appeal to a certain type of voter. For all I know Cao is a Soros puppet who sells aborted baby parts for beer money.

So maybe what I mean to say is that I'd vote for the guy this campaign ad is portraying.

Well you already admitting to liking Vivek despite him being the recipient of the Soros Fellowship for New americans.

So not only is he " a Soros Puppet" but he benefitted from affirmative action. Two things you claim to hate. But it's not surprising you are once again ignorant of most things.

One of the things that is troublesome is that the majority of American families have been here so long they do not have experience with countries that are not free. Many have a problem with Capitalism , free speech, the 2nd. Amendment, and many other things we have here in America that they don't like. Many believe Socialism and Marxism work better. They ignore what is going on in countries where it exists and believe that it will work better for us than it does in these countries. Like our Socialists and Marxists will do it right. Lot's O' Luck---right?
They don't appreciate what makes them free to even have such thoughts.

I've been wondering where to drop this. This thread is as good as any. Especially since it looks like it could go of the rails pretty quickly.

Folly, thou conquerest, and I must yield!
Against stupidity the very gods
Themselves contend in vain.

Trying to recall the last SOCOM guy I met that was a Soros puppet.... Thinking...thinking....
I don't know what SOCOM is, but Dan Crenshaw comes to mind. A number of Democrats claim an elite military background.

Feel free to correct yourself at any time.

The parts of the world that practice actual socialism do - sort of - exhibit "equality".

But it is equal parts poverty and misery.

Socrates is attributed the quote -

"If all our misfortunes were laid in one common heap whence everyone must take an equal portion, most people would be content to take their own and depart.” Everyone has their own burdens - you can't hope for a world where everyone's fortunes become yours, but none of their burdens.

Socialism isn't shared wealth - it's shared poverty. It's not equality of rights - it's shared reduction of rights.
Shared *misery* rather than affluence. Not more free, but equally mistreated.

Ultimately, the fairest society would be a true meritocracy - you get more if you try harder; less if you try less. You tip the scales slightly for those who cannot help themselves, but that's it.

We are approaching a society where merit becomes irrelevant, and every disgruntled group wants a part of the pie without contributing to it.

I'd have a hard time voting for a ring knocker. I think they all must minor in back stabbing and blame shifting. Met a few decent ones, but not enough for me to avoid their ilk.
