I think this one makes much more sense than Marylands idea of providing so many hours of community service. This provides training in something that's almost every college student is going to need at some point, Marylands idea provides training into how to get a ticket off of your record.

Education officials on Thursday gave final approval to a plan that makes Idaho the first state in the nation to require high school students to take at least two credits online to graduate.

How about to get welfare, food stamps, etc., you have to perform community service :confused:

If it's good enough for high school students :shrug:
