My neighbors recently had their trash taken from them. They put the WM bin outside on the curb the evening prior to pickup and the next morning (before WM came) their trash was gone! If you do this, be sure to shred/tear important documents, credit cards, anything with your personal information!!

I thought that happened to me, but the sanitation engineers just came really early yesterday.
They came earlier than usual for us, too. They *could* have possibly not heard the truck. Neighbors said it has been more than once, so who knows. But, just to be on the safe side, it is always good to shred any personal documents.

I have a mini shredder in my kitchen for that very reason. As I'm going through the mail, I shred what I don't need/want.

Don't even keep my address on the mail anymore. Rip the name and address off and shred it along with any other identifying information. I like shredders. Got one that even shreds credit cards.
