Idiocracy

Pretty funny movie...especially the beginning about the world rewarding the simple act of breeding instead of skill/accomplishment. Sounds about right. :lmao:

Funny. Disturbing, but funny. Disturbing as in seeing the truth through the comedy. Basic idea is that you have a couple, couple A. They are married, intelligent, have high IQ's, want to wait until it's reasonable to have a child and so on... Then you have couple B, who the man is concurrently having babies with his woman and his other bebe's momma. As the chart grows, the number of lower educated bebes are being pop-pop-populated - while couple A is still waiting, then encounters difficulties, etc...

It's kind of like a fukced up version of Darwin's Survival theory where "fittest" doesn't apply nor does intelligence, common sense, etc...

Like I said, It was funny, gotta give it to Mike Judge!

By the way, I didn't give the plot line or movie summary, so here's a link

I've never heard of it, but now I want to see it. I'm glad to see Mike Judge is still working.

It was pretty funny though the first 2/3rds. The last 1/3rd kind of fell apart IMHO. But, the funny parts were really f'ing funny.

The IQ test:

If you have one bucket with 2 gallons of water and another bucket with 3 gallons of water, how many buckets do you have?

:roflmao:

There was a time when reading wasn't just for fags; and neither was writing. People wrote books and movies; Movies with stories that made you care about who's ass it was and why it was farting.

Yeah, the ending dragged, but there was so much humor to make up for it that it's worth the watch!

:lmao: Yeah. It was still a good movie.

I got my DVD working now... The worsst ef'ing part was that I pulled the other edisc out and realized it was disc #2. There was no f;ing disc#1 in the box. I had to go to Blockbuster and return it, and then the ice cream craving hit me on the way home so I had to buy ice cream, fudge, and redi whip.

I have now had a big ass sundae and much more scotch, so I am set.
