Gonzalez, who cut off the tip of his finger outside the state Capitol in 1994 to protest efforts by the gun lobby to scuttle tougher firearms laws, is selling the homemade guillotine and hammer used in the severance on eBay. The bidding begins at $50,000.

I did an "ask the seller a question" to ask if he has always been an idiot or if it happened recently. I noticed that most of the questions that have been asked by others were in the same vein.

Gonzalez believes there should be a harsh penalty for people who commit crimes with guns.

I agree with that part of it. But if there WERE harsh penalties for people who commit crimes with guns, then the incident rate would go way down and "gun control" would become a moot point.
