IE8 To Firefox?

If I download another browser such as Firefox will it uninstall Explorer?
Also, will it screw up Win 8.1? I have always used Explorer but lately I cannot access some sites since update to Win 8.1.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No, it will not uninstall IE.

You can have as many browsers on your PC as you want. They all work independently.

When you install FireFox, it will ask you if you want to import all the settings from IE. You can pick and choose what you would like to import, like your favorites.

Also gary, if you are having problems with some sites using IE8, you could always uprade to IE 9, or IE 10, or IE 11. I use IE 8, and Firefox on my XP laptop.

You have windows 8.1 but only IE8? That doesn't make sense. I rarely use IE (usually use Chrome) but have IE10 and noticed foxsports tells me that it needs updated.

:yay:
Only thing that comes to mind is picking which one you want to use as default. You can use any browser you want simply by clicking on the icon as usual but if someone sends you a link in an email or something and you click it, then whatever browser you have set as default will open that up. Just have to decide which one to set as default. no biggie though
