I have had DSL issues for a good while, it seemed to me that around busy times i would completely lose internet in the last year or so. I called a couple times and the people on the phone wanted to blame my computer(s) etc. Finally I started having problems with my phone also, I would pick up the phone and there were people on it having a conversation.
It turned out that someone was patched into my phone service using it for telemarketing/scamming. On end was always a guy telling people they won a contest.
While the people you manage to get on the phone are next to useless the tech that Verizon sent out had the problem solved in no time and I give him a big thumbs up.
