 Agreed, Sleuth. I saw it on the Headline News Channel, running along the bottom of the tube on the tickertape.

I channel surfed a few news stations, but didn't see it being mentioned anywhere, yet.

So, I did a Google search, and there it was.

Who'd a thunk it, eh?

I never would have believe that Google was a right-wing neoconservative bastion of modern day fascism with ties into the Bush administration and the death of all we as Americans hold near and dear!

WMD Were planted! And there wasn't enough of it to qualify as WMD anyway. I would put that much Saren on my Ham & Turkey Sammich and eat it.

I assume there's sarcasm in there somewhere? But just in case,

I caught it on Fox News at lunch time.

If I was the Republican party, I'd have every prominent congressman, and every member of the president's cabinet, calling press conferences or making statements to the press to get this some real attention.

You know... I'll bet if they look hard enough, now that they have a location where a biological/chemical weapon was used, they might be able to find a stockpile of it nearby.

 Cari is right. Fox News just ran a 10 minute piece on the subject, whereas CNN and MSNBC were mum on it. I also watched "Coming up on CNN", and they featured the Ma. Legalizing Gay marraige issue, the NYSE report, the prison abuse scandle in Iraq, an NAACP meeting, the Hollywood Minute, - but no mention of the 155mm sarin gas shell story.

Go figure.

BUT, I want you all to know - there's no bias in the news coverage!

 Another thing that's odd/interesting about this story is that it apparently happened Saturday - 2 days ago - and we are hearing about it just now?

The Berg story didn't break until a Tuesday, when it all went down the previoius weekend

 You gotta point, Nickel.

I'm wondering which story will be covered more by the major news orgs., the Iraqi prison abuse scandals, or this one about potential WMDs being found inside Baghdad?

Opinions?

Um, hello, the most coverage the Berg story got was about the fact that he wasn't supposed to be in Iraq, and even after that it hasn't been on the news that much. But the damn naked Iraqis are all over the news. My bet goes on the prison abuse "scandal" taking the cake. Does anyone honestly think the media will choose to run a story about how the Bush administration just might have been right about something, over a story about their supposed failures?

Miss Nickel, say it ain't so!

That would force Ted Kennedy, Bob Graham, Hillary Clinton, and a whole lot of low-life leftist liberals would have to eat crow!

And John Forbes Kerry would absolutetly be flabbergasted..... he'd have to come up with some other excuse as to why he did not support the invasion of Iraq.

Outside of the fact that he may have signed on to congress' authorisation for the president to invade.... but he never thought Pres. Bush would have the b@!!s to do it!

Horrors!!

If he thought the President of the United States of America would propose something without having the cajones to back it up, maybe he should just sit this election out.
