Mark 9:38 “Teacher,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.
39 “Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “For no one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, 40 for whoever is not against us is for us. 41 Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward.
42 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea. 43 If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. 45 And if your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. 46 And if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, 48 where
“‘the worms that eat them do not die,
and the fire is not quenched.'
49 Everyone will be salted with fire.
50 “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other.”
I admit it. I combined two sections this morning. I think I'll do the second section first and the first will make more sense for me that way.

Hey... you priests, preachers, elders, teachers, and pew warmers as well.... if you mess with the kids.... you're going to hell! Period!

You knew better.... and now you're going to hell! Period!

Jesus didn't say, if you sin with your penis, you should cut it off. Better to be without a penis than to be thrown into hell! Period! Sometimes something that nasty is just implied... right?

Yep, that's right.... the worms go in the worms go out.... forever!!!! and if you mess with the kids.... you will have firsthand knowledge! In Hell! Period!

But... check out verse 42... it says "those who believe in me".... Have you ever heard a kid say, "I don't believe in God"? If a kid says that.... well, someone is going to Hell! Period!

I've never heard a child say anything that would tell me they didn't like Jesus. Have you?

Now, as a matter of conscience, I do have to admit that I have wondered about children in those "Chuckie" type movies. Those children who act those parts, are they ok? Do we mess with their minds? Have we caused them to be salted with fire? Have we taken away their innocence? Are we guilty?

Now for the first section... John [one of the Zebedee boys] told someone to stop doing miracles because they weren't one of the original twelve chosen. John would know everyone who was one of the original twelve chosen, because John and his brother James were chosen right after Simon Peter.

Jesus said, "if someone is claiming my name.... and doing good things.... let them keep at it".

If you're not against me, then you are for me!

I can tell you, there is a lot of labeling going on about Jesus. When you get old, and you move into a 55+ community, you learn a lot more about this verse.

In this community, it's not just our political party, that causes us to group up.... it's what church you belong to.

Jewish, Catholic, Presbyterian, Baptist, Methodist, Mormon, Jehovah's Witness, 7th Day, Spirit filled, any church [not just the lack of a church] will draw conversation.

One of my neighbors is a Jehovah's Witness, and when she found out I was raised Southern Baptist.... she actually looked down on me.... It was as if she was saying "those Baptist don't have a clue". She thinks her church is better... and my church is harming children... because of the stories we tell them in Sunday School.

Another of my neighbors is Jewish... and she thinks she's got the real key. She's not going to buy that Jesus stuff.... "the Messiah won't like that when He finally gets here". She's still waiting for her miracle.

It doesn't matter which church you belong to.... it only matters if you are "FOR JESUS".

My dear Jehovah's Witness friend was taken to the hospital yesterday, and a few of us prayed for her. She's doing fine now, after emergency heart surgery. We prayed because she believes in Jesus. She got a miracle because she is one of His.

Don't scoff at our miracle. Jesus led us to pray... even though she's not in a Baptist or Catholic church. It doesn't matter where you read the Gospel. If it's being preached in a bar or a brothel or in a sanctuary.... the Gospel is the Miracle of the Messiah.

If you're not against me, then you are for me!
