MSNBC Panel Suggests SEC Should Wage Lawfare Campaign Against Trump For Truth Social Stock Boom

“To the extent it makes any money, the revenue number, the amount of money this company makes, is $4 million. That’s it. That’s all this company makes and it’s being valued in the billions of dollars, I mean literally something like 2,000 times the revenue number,” CNBC’s Andrew Ross Sorkin said. “And then the whole thing is absurd. Why the SEC does not think there’s some kind of stock manipulation going on, by the way, but clearly this is one of these almost meme-like stocks where there’s clearly a group of people that are trying to push up the price to almost transfer money potentially to the former president.”

MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle said the stock surge was driven by “that whole kind of Wall Street Bets, Trump loyalists … saying ‘I’m going to take this thing to the moon.’ But the other group that could be more dangerous, what an unbelievable transfer of money, right? Unofficial payments, unregulated, almost political donations that nobody’s going to track. And that’s when people are looking at the SEC saying, ‘Are you kidding me?'”

Sorkin then alleged “this is one of those true manipulations of sorts … People have been trying to push up the price almost like in a pyramid-like way to try to get money to the president to try to, effectively, influence the outcome of the election.”

“And why nobody’s going, ‘What is going on here?’ makes no sense,” Sorkin continued.

The panel discussion was a thinly veiled attempt to encourage the politicization of the SEC to target Trump, evidenced by Sorkin’s hypothesis that the Truth Social stock could “influence the outcome of the election.”

Sharpton: Trump Is a ‘Low Down’ Con Man Using ‘Boogeyman Politics’

Sharpton said, “He was the same guy that stood on television as president of the United States, and said it will be over in two weeks. Don’t worry about it. And then finally he told us to take bleach. So now we’re going – I think that the collective amnesia, that a lot of Americans are having, is the challenge that the Democrats have to put out there, say this is the guy that you voted out. Remember, now, he ran for re-election. You didn’t want him back again. Don’t let him con you now with this boogeyman politics, the boogeyman is coming, the boogeyman is coming. He was the boogeyman.”

He added, “He’s playing on style and swagger. I think a lot of is going to crash as the Biden administration gets its messaging together. But don’t forget, when it is said that the lot could happen between now and November, one of the things that could happen is he could be convicted of felonies. Monday after next, a trial starts and you talk about the economy, do CEOs want to explain to the world why a man convicted of felonies of hush money to a porn star, who sells bibles, after he goes to court defending that he had sex with a porn star. ‘Get my bible. I’m giving you a discount. $59.99. You don’t have to pay $60.’ That is how low down of a con man he is.”

When Truth Trumps Lies: MSNBC Host Says Trump 'Promised American Carnage' – He Promised the Opposite

What Trump did do was use the term about China building two new automobile plants in Mexico and planning to ship untold numbers into the U.S. Trump said there would be a bloodbath in America — concerning a flood of Chinese cars into the country — if he didn't win in November, a clear reference to the American economy.

So, let's get back to Ms. Sanders-Townsend and her whopper. In response to Steel's nonsense, she said:

When Donald Trump announced – not even that – when he, on his inauguration ... in his remarks during his inauguration, he promised American carnage. He is now making ... he tried to make good on that promise throughout his presidency, on January 6th after he lost.

Nonsense. Here's what Trump actually said on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2017 (emphasis, mine):

Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves. These are just and reasonable demands of righteous people and a righteous public, but for too many of our citizens a different reality exists.
Mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities, rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation, [and] an education system flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of all knowledge, and the crime, and the gangs, and the drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential.
This American carnage stops right here and stops right now.

Oopsie, Simone — and the other clowns on the clown-car set who agreed with you, including Alexi Jo McCammond, an opinions editor with The Washington Post, who jumped at the opportunity to make a fool out herself, too:

It's certainly perpetuated by Donald Trump. I mean, he is saying the craziest stuff. Symone's right. From that inauguration speech, we all were like, wow, American carnage! This is what we all signed up for.

With No Shame Left to Lose, MSNBC Interviews Michael Avenatti From Prison Because Orange Man Bad

Some conservatives are plastering the above clip on social media because Avenatti appears to be saying what they want to hear regarding the flimsiness of Alvin Bragg's prosecution. Let me say this about that: I don't care if Avenatti comes out and says Donald Trump was the greatest president in history, no one should be citing him as an authority on anything.

The guy is a ridiculous con artist, and if I want someone to validate my already-held opinions, I won't be looking to Avenatti. I'd suggest overly thirsty conservatives do the same and preserve some semblance of sanity in the chase for clicks and clout.

With that said, Avenatti eventually predicted that Trump would be convicted in the case despite its problems.

Even MSNBC can no longer fully control how the train wreck that is the Biden presidency is spun.

No matter how much the White House and lefty media try to spin how great "Bidenomics" has been for ordinary Americans, those people still go to the grocery store and gas station and can see for themselves.

The result is awkward moments for Biden-friendly cable nets:

And of course MSNBC hosts and panelists will consider that to be stunning because it runs counter to what they keep gaslighting about daily.
