IHOP in Laplata

We've been there twice now and that place sucks. Food has come out cold both times and somehow I always get the hashbrown that's been sitting at the bottom of the fryer all morning. My husband got a Pancake Platter where you get the works with your choice of 2 of their "famous" pancakes. He asked for blueberry. What he got was two dinky regular pancakes (cold!) with a bowl of cold blueberry pie filling. The lady said "Oh you wanted them inside the pancake?" Not wanting to wait any longer he told her he'd just eat what he had. The bill came and they charged us for the blueberry filling.

As annoying as it was we thought it was pretty funny that he ordered blueberry pancakes and had to pay for the blueberries.

So yeah, go to Bob Evans instead.

when individuals don't get paid a good salary for there job they really don't care that much about the service they provide.

Bob Evans in south Waldorf has much better food and service. I'm surprised they made you pay for the blue berries, I would have asked to speak to the manager.

The one by Sam's Club? They were HORRIBLE!! Hubby and I were seated and after 10 minutes when several wait staff passed our table without even a glance we got up to ask the hostess who our server was. After listening for about 5 more minutes to several argue that ours was NOT their table (right in front of us) we just got up and left.

I'm pretty sure they were talking about the one in front of the old Western Steer down by the mall across from Pep Boys on 301 SB

I know there is a Bob Evans in north Waldorf (on the southbound
side of routes. 5/301) north of Home Depot. So has a 2nd Bob Evans
been built in Waldorf? If so, where?

Down by the old K-Mart, across the street from Red White and Blue.

Any server can make a GREAT salary -IF they are GOOD at what they do. You dont even need to enjoy it - as the general public DOES make it hard to enjoy that job - BUT serving is 80% ACTING. I act like I like seeing ungreatful ppl and I make good money. IHOP is WAY too much work for $100/day -which on a weekend shift is the LEAST I ever brought out of one of those dives. If a server has talant he /she should work fine dining and make plenty of money to pay the bills and then some. Sounds like no one cares at this IHOP and they let it show.

Please don't blame the public for your crappy work ethic.

Wow. Hubby and I have eaten there several times and have had nothing but great service. No complaints from us; servers great, and food good. Of course, we usually go early, before the big rush, so maybe that has something to do with it?
