The four seasons.
Today, our last 'season' graduates and moves on to her world and what she will make of it.
Our first one was fall, responsible, always getting ready for winter yet still some pleasant weather and fun and always with a plan. Sturdy.
Our second one was winter. She'd either be making a snow angel, throwing snowballs or running around with no cloths on at 2am on the verge of freezing to death yet still carefree and it always works out. Wanting to ski; not wanting to LEARN to ski. Enough to drive a mother crazy and make a dads eye twinkle.
Our third is summer, sunny, warm, the beach, party time, yet also the threat of sudden, severe storms, thunder, lighting, or maybe horrible sun burn. Extremes, extremely talented, extremely frustrating. Extremely alive.
This last one is spring. Soft disposition, the trees coming back to life, creation, soft rains, blooming flowers, easy going, the world is alive and beautiful. Pure joy.
There it is, the finish line; fours kids we ain't too unhappy with. Get ready, world! The whole set is on your azz now!
