'I'll Be Damned': Ocasio-Cortez Blasts Biden's 'Middle Of The Road' Plans

"I'll be damned if the same politicians who refused to act (in past decades) are going to try to come back today and say we need a 'middle of the road' approach to save our lives," Ocasio-Cortez declared at a rally Monday hosted by the radical left Sunrise Movement, the same group the incoming congresswoman joined in a sit-in protest at the office of presumptive Democratic House leader Nancy Pelosi just days after getting elected last year.

As CNN notes, Ocasio-Cortez's "middle of the road" comment appears to be "aimed directly at Biden," about whom fellow democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders had just blasted on the same stage for not being progressive enough. Their complaints appear to be in reference to a recent Reuters report on Biden's plans to find "middle ground" on climate change.

AOC is correct. Biden had been entrenched in DC for years. If he wanted to change things, he had plenty of opportunity to do so. Time to throw out all the imcumbents and elect non career politicians.

Ted Yoho of Florida comes to mind. He was a small business owner for 30 years before running for Congress. We need more people with real life experience instead of decades of fund raising and glad handing.

More people with real life experiences.
Not radicals who propose to get everything free, and be looked after and baby sat throughout their lives.

Good luck in getting that.

People keep voting them in because it's never "Their Guy" that is the problem.... It's all the other ones.

Somebody higher up in the party is going to have to get control of her, Talib, and Omar or the democrats are in for a world of hurt. They simply don't understand that the progressive base is not enough to win elections held in areas that are greater than house districts. Their kind of brand of stupid does not play well at the national level, or even a lot of state levels. General elections are won by not only energizing your base, but also by winning the independent and the party moderates. She should look at Maryland's last gubernatorial election. Ben Jealous was about as progressive as you can get and his agenda was soundly rejected by a very liberal voting base. Joe Biden understands election dynamics and that is why Trump has been more concerned about him than any of the other democrat wannabes. I would love to see him pull a JR Ewing on AOC and undermine her re-election bid and get her primaried. It might be the one time I would root for him and Pelosi on the same team if they could take her out, politically of course.
