Im Dreaming of a White Christmas

Ive probably spoiled it now to even think that maybe next weekend or late next week like the Thursday/Friday/Christmas Eve time frame we could have white stuff on the ground. Looks like a Nor'easter might form of the coast and move up the coast line. Temps are suppose to be really really cold like highs in the mid 20's later next week. They say this could be the coldest Christmas Day in over 20 years. If it had been abit colder in SoMd with this past rain it could have been 16 inches of snow.

I wouldn't mind getting totally snowed in for a day or two. I've been known to drive 7 hours, only 2 hours ahead of a major 24" snowstorm, just for the fun of being caught in it.

Well maybe I did mess up the chance for snow mentioning it too early. After watching the weather this morning on the TV looks like rain now and maybe north and west with mixed precipitation. Those nor'easter up the coast do have the threat of bringing warmer air with them and keeping the colder air west/north of the DMV. Our biggest snows are when those storms up the coast stay cold. Being old guy I use to love it when it snowed but health issue's have limited just about anything I can do outside anymore. Thank goodness for 2 son's and 2 grandkids within 7 miles of me are of great help with things around my very small McMansion.
