I'm excited!!

Today I'm going to meet the little fur ball who might become my newest family member...
I haven't had a pet in years, so I'm also a bit nervous.... Not after I lost my pup 5 years ago.

She's a 3 year old sheltie mix who was a Katrina rescue and she's supposed to be good with kids.
Today is my daughters birrthday and she's been begging for a dog, I really hope that she is the one. She sounds perfect!!!

I'm going to stop at petco if we decide to take her and get some food, a leash and collar and something for fleas if the people who have her don't already have something. Oh and some doggie shampoo and a brush and a few toys..

Before you go to Petco, try WalMart. Cheaper! Food bowls, and maybe a doggie bed.

This will be my first indoor doggie... All my other dogs have been big monsters who lived outside.

I'm more excited than my kiddo is, who still thinks we are going to dinner for her birthday today...heehee
