Well there ya' go. Probably not the gadget for you. However, I think the dishwasher will work just as well on that as it does any number of odd things I put in it.

I like that the water doesn't 'pulse', like the water pick, I don't get water all over the place, and I don't have to deal with putting it away, or making room for it to leave out. I have always found the water pick to be an enormous PITA.

I wanted the shower one because of the mess too! Now I'm excited for it to get here.

It's not the gadget for me, either. Having your waterpick in the shower seems gross. It's like people who keep a toothbrush in their shower. Ick.

No. However, the water pick (any brand) will clean places that floss can't reach. An example would my crowns, or someone wearing braces. Floss will reach under the gums between the teeth, but not the rest of the gum.

If you don't use a water pick now, you probably won't be interested in a different model/version.
